Bricks! Love 'em!

Wednesday was a pretty heavy workout day.  Did an hour on the bike and then right on to 710 kettlebell snatches!  Yesterday was a complete break from physical exercise!  Love these.  We need these days.  Our minds and our bodies need these days.  I worked on some artsy stuff-which, since most of you may not know, but I was into commercial art way before I ever gave health care a twinkle of a thought!  I can sit for hours and draw, design, create, whatever you want to call it.  I'm right now working on the job given to me at our church.  That is to redo the bulletin board!  And let me tell you this..........it so needs me!  Today I'm taking everything over there and create some magic!

First up this morning was my first brick workout in......Oops, I have no clue when I last did a brick!

Out super early, right after Jared left for school, and got a 2 mile run done.  It was only 14 degrees, cloudy, windy and some light snow falling!  Perfect!  As usual, it starts off cold, then disgustingly hot-just can't figure out the best layering technique!  The beginning was cold-I felt like my fingers were gonna freeze off, but then after the first 1/2 mile or so, the gloves actually came off!
After stripping off the clothes and putting on the diaper shorts and different shoes, it was onto the bike.  40 minutes of pedaling.  Roughly 12-15 miles.  Not a bad day.  It's still super early and I've already gotten my workout done!
Now I can tackle that bulletin board!

 I love triathlons!

Working the weekend-praying that our nice cold weather that seems to have finally hit us helps with the flu situation.  It would be nice to have a "calmer" weekend at work!  Monday's forecast is a high of 10 degrees!  That's in the city, that means by us it could easily be ZERO!  Yup!  I'm planning on running!  There's just something about it, something about running in the cold weather!

Until next time.........Blessings!
