Positives.......
*I was blessed to be given another day.
*I was blessed to have the capability to use my lungs to breath the air in and out without the need for a machine to do it for me.
*I was blessed to see my husband laying next to me for there are many people who's spouses are no longer with them.
*I was happy because it's Wednesday and today is the day I get to teach people all about the greatest fitness tool there is out there.....the kettlebell!
*I was thankful because I was able to "walk" when I got out of bed when so many others are wheelchair bound and will never take another step.
*I was happy to see my son-his smile makes me smile and warms my heart.
*I was excited to see all who would be showing up to class today for that means they are believing in themselves and their capabilities.
*I was excited to see my friend and co-instructor for I am truly blessed to have her come into my life.
Truthfully, I could spend all day typing in the positives of this great day.....to be negative about anything, and I could easily turn any of the above into a negative, but why? How tiring is it to continuously be negative? It's very draining on the mind, the body, and the spirit.
On that note lets just look at a few things........
When the very soul, the deepest part of you, becomes completely engaged in whatever it is you're doing, when the activities and the actions become satisfying and purposeful, when what you do serves both yourself and others, when you do not tire within because you're in pursuit of the sweet satisfaction of your life and your work, you are living life the way it is meant to be lived!
Sometimes, it's just the tiniest decisions that can change our lives forever. We must avoid these decisions at all cost.....here are just a few things to think about as you continue on with this thing we call life:
*Be kind to yourself in thoughts, words and actions. It's a very painful thing to lose yourself in the the process of loving others, and forgetting that you are special too.
*Those people who want to stay in your life will always find a way. REAL friends and lovers stay faithful. Never should you have to fight for a spot in someone's life. Never force someone to make a spot for you in their life, because if they truly care about you, they will create one for you.
*We would never allow even a tiny bit of poison to be in our food, let us not allow even a tiny bit of anger to live in our heart.
*One race you will never win is the running away from your problems. It doesn't matter who you used to be; what does matter is who you are today. What you decide to do TODAY can only improve all of your tomorrows.
*People will change. Get used to it. Accept it. Wish them well anyway. Be happy anyway. If you're being true to yourself and it isn't enough for the people around you-then it's time to change the people around you.
*Good things DON'T come to those who wait. Good things come to those who pursue the goals and dreams they believe in. Don't blame your past for what you don't have. Blame your present. Ask yourself; "what can I do NOW that will bring me closer to where I want to be?"
*Love what you do, until you can do what you love. Love where you are, until you can be where you love. Love the people you are with, until you can be with the people you love most.
*Even in the most peaceful surroundings, the ungrateful heart finds trouble. Even in the most troublesome surroundings, the grateful heart finds peace. Choose to see the world through grateful eyes; it will never look the same again.
To end this, I ask you to take some time alone with just yourself and ask yourself these questions:
*Do you celebrate the things you do have?
*Who do you love? And what are you doing about it?
*Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
*What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
*Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?
*When it's all said and done, will you have said more than you've done?
and this last one is my favorite.......
Reflection is the key to progression!

i especially like the one about poison in food / anger in the heart!
